Monday Mojo on Wednesday

Isn't it purtiful? I created this card from Julee's Mojo Monday sketch this week. You can go here to see the sketch. I am very grateful to the talented gals in stamping blog land who have the creativity to come up with these sketches.

The card details are: Base card is White shimmer cardstock layered with a pink print from the Memory Box Sprout pack. Another layer of white shimmer and a green print from the Sprout pack. The image layer is the pink print with a white shimmer layer. The rose stamp is from Paper Inspirations and I stamped the image twice with Mauve and Orchid Versacolor inks for the rose and Bamboo and Green Tea Versacolor inks for the stem and leaves. I embossed the image with clear powder. I cut out one of the roses and layered it to the base image with some foam tape. The words are from Papertrey and are stamped in Bamboo Versacolor ink. I finished off the card with some pearl embellishments and white Midori ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Cupcake

Hello blog buddies! I found a little time to stamp and can't wait to share with you. This cupcake card is 100% inspired by one of the blogs that I stalk on a daily basis. Each morning I check my e-mail to see what Laurie at Just Give Me Stamps has created. When I saw this card, I couldn't wait to get into the studio and stamp. One of the things that I really enjoy about Laurie's style is the way she uses layers. You know I love layering!

The supplies I used are: Medium Blue, Black and Lime cardstock from Worldwin, Black Versafine Ink. Happy Birthday stamp from Stampendous and my new favorite cupcake from Lockhart Stamp Company. I colored the cupcake paper with Lime Peel Twinkling H20's and the cherry was colored with Poppy Red Twinks. A little Crystal Stickles for the frosting. I used a bit of Lime Chalk Ink around the edges of the cupcake panel. I used my Marvy scalloped punches for the cirlcles, but Nesties would work perfectly too! I finished the card off with some Lt. Blue Organdy Swirl and Black/White checked ribbons.

Long time, no see...

I know I haven't posted in a long time. I have been so busy with work and when I come home, I don't feel like doing anything. I have been trying to clean out and re-organize my studio. I will have lots of stamps and supplies for sale soon.

We had our shoebox class at the store today and it was a great success. I will try to photograph and upload the cards this week.

Not much new going on otherwise. Just wanted to let you all know that I am alive and well.

Hugs,
