It has been a few since I posted, but I have been busier than a bee.
A couple of weeks ago, I created this card and ended up with a pile of scraps, here is a picture of everything that was left over.
I decided it was time to get Scraptastic!
I was on a mission and I created two more cards and two tags!
This one uses stamps from the Reverse Confetti Peacock Pretties set, lots of the cardstock and pearls from the pile and a wee bit of black ribbon. I used two colors of pigment ink on the feather and embossed it with clear powder. I added some black enamel accents to the heart on the feather to make it stand out.
For this card, I started with a black cardbase (not from scrap pile), embossed the pink piece and the black circle with some Cuttlebug folders, added the star and some twine. Stamped the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Inner Rock Star set in black ink and called her good!
Lastly, I created two tags using bits and pieces from the pile. I stamped the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Celebrate Cake set in black ink, added a bit of ribbon and called it good.
Here is what I have left:
I am thinking, I might be able to get one more tag out of this.
I love using up the scraps because let's face it, if I shove them to the side I probably won't go back and fuss with them again. How about you?
