Today I am sad. This morning the father of my dear friend Sharon passed away. Dwight was such a sweet, wonderful man. He loved life, his family, his pets and his church with all of his heart. Dwight would have turned 95 on the 20th of this month. His life was long and full of many joys. I have so many fond memories of him that I will always cherish. I know that when it is my time to go to heaven, he will be waiting there on his Rhino (4-wheeler) for me and the first thing we will do is go to Crabcakes for a yummy catfish lunch. My fish will be fried, but not his, it will be broiled.

Melissa, I am so sorry for the grief you are feeling because of the passing of your dear friend. As sad as it is for his family and friends, I'm sure he is quite happy to be where he is now! Take comfort in knowing he's with his Father and is probably pretty happy to be home.
Melissa, I am so sorry for you and your friend and her family. Hang on to those treasured memories!

Melissa,
Your tribute to Dwight is surely felt by him even now. He must have been a true treasure, and I'm so sorry that you're grieving. At the same time, I always say that our tears of grief are a tribute to the awesome love that we had the privilege to share.
