Hi there! Just a quick post for today. I finally found a bit of time to work with the Viva La Verve Week 1 sketch.
I inked the petals of the floral image with a couple of light teal/green inks and the stems with marker and stamped them onto ivory cardstock. I inked/stamped the petals one more time and cut them out and popped them up with some foam tape. Added a sentiment and layered it onto die cut panels. The flower petals were coated with glossy accents and sprinkled with microfine glitter. Added a few butterflies and rhinestones and called it good. Well, I am off to work on the week 2 sketch. Awesome card! Love the butterflies & fantastic way to use the Spellbinders tag - I've had a tough time incorporating those into cards - great idea :)
