Hi there! This week I have been busy working on samples for last nights Gina K. Designs release party at StampTV. The Hopeful Hearts set was illustrated by Tami Mayberry and I was thrilled when Tami asked me to be one of her Guest Designers for this release. This set is full of beautiful hearts and hopeful sentiments. Today, I am am sharing two of my projects with you and I will be back a little later this week with the rest.
First up is a set of mini (3 x 3) love note cards and a cute little box to store them in. The framed heart image was embossed in black powder and then I colored the heart in with Copic markers (R24, R27, R29). The heart panels were layered onto a red lacey square panel and then onto the black note card. The only embellishment is the little black bows on the notes and box lid.
This card has to be one of my favorite creations. I really love how the kraft and pink colors came together. The dot cardstock is from my MME stash and the pink/brown floral is from Creative Imaginations Cowgirl line. I punched the edges of the medium pink panel with the EK Scalloped Scallop punch. I think this is one of my favorite punches of all time. A must have. The vine die cut is from a Sizzix die and the sweet little roses are from Prima. You can find the EK punch and Prima flowers at The Cat's Meow.
Hugs,
