Welcome to the GKD Center Stage Spotlight Inspiration Blog Hop. Tonight we are going to share cards that we created based on the beautiful fall photo below that Geri chose to inspire us.

Being a warm weather girl, I am not quite ready for fall, but I love the colors that fall brings. Both of the cards I created were inspired by the beautiful colors in the photo.
I used some of the new Gina K. Designs Pure Luxury Tomato Soup cardstock as the base for my card, I added a layer of PL Fresh Asparagus and then a layer of print paper from the new Sun Kissed Autumn paper pack. I inked up the leaf stamp from the new Gina K. Designs Stippled Nature set with a variety of fall colored Tombow Dual Brush markers and spritzed it with pearlized water to blend the colors and create a watercolor effect on the leaves. They really shimmer in person.
For this card, I started with a base of GKD PL Cherry Red cardstock and added a small scallop border at the top and bottom with some GKD PL Honey Mustard cardstock and then added some print papers from the Crate paper Farmhouse collection. For the apples I cut the apple/leaf images from the Stippled Nature Silhouette Cut file and stamped the apples/leaves from the Stippled Nature set onto the die cut pieces. It is difficult to tell, but each of the apples is all dressed up in glitter. A little ribbon was added as a finishing touch.

Melissa, your cards are gorgeous!! I do love the Tomato Soup papers and you really showed them off with this card. The Silhouette card is so cute and inspiring. (A Silhouette is still in my future).

Oh, my goodness! These are both great cards! I haven't used my stippled stamp set yet, and you have definitely inspired me to pull it out to make some fall cards! Love the patterned papers you chose for both cards, especially the ruler/yardstick. Reminds me of when I was a kid and stores gave away yardsticks with their names on them.
