During the holiday season I always like to give baked goods, or fun mixes in a jar.
Today I am sharing with you some sweet little Peppermint Cocoa mixes that I plan on giving to a few of my neighbors.
I started with some small canning jars, cocoa mix, peppermint crunch candies and some chocolate marshmallows and layered each of them into the jars.
I started by adding some Tombow Mono Multi adhesive to the rim of each lid and then added a square of fabric in fun peppermint colors to the top. I held the fabric down around the rim for about 30 seconds to allow the adhesive to take hold.
I then cut a paper border using the Fiskars Lacy Doubles and Banners Away Interchangeable Border punch cartridges. I cut each border to 3/4 inch wide and wrapped around the fabric on the rim of the lids. I used a bit more of the Tombow Mono Multi to hold the paper edging in place. On top of the paper edging is a bit more Tombow Mono Multi and ribbon/trim.
I printed the recipe onto some white cardstock and cut each of the layers with a Silhouette Cameo cut file. For the front of the tag, I stamped "to" and "from" in Memento Tuxedo Black ink from the Paper Smooches Christmas Sampler set. I also added
a Fiskars Snowflake punch that I covered with Tombow Mono Multi and Art Institute Vintage Glass glitter in Rosebud. On each of the tags I stamped the dotted line and snowflake from the Hampton Arts Santa Stops Here set. I used a Tombow Power Tab that I had cut into quarters to adhere the glittered snowflake to the front of the tag. The front and back tag panels were adhered to the red base tag with Tombow Mono Adhesive Dots.
