While surfing the net a little bit ago, I came across this challenge on the Paper Smooches blog and wouldn't you know it, it ends today.  I have been in a bit of a slumpity slump and decided that if I played along maybe that would help Mr. MO and JO to return.  

So here is a quick little "thanks" card that will be great for my stash basket. I used this weeks sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch (see below) for my layout. 

I stamped the stem/flower from the Paper Smooches Friendly Flowers set using Memento's Olive Grove for the stem and Tuxedo Black for the flower.  The sentiment is from the Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler (a great go to for sentiments, IMHO) in Tuxedo Black as well.  The flower was colored with Copic markers and a little bit of Stardust Red Star was used for the heart.  I also went around the flower and the sentiment with the Stardust Clear Star pen.  I love that little bit of sparkle.  It makes for a nice finish.  I know it is hard to see in the picture.....darn overcast day! The image panel was layered onto a piece of print paper from the Penny Black Madison 6 x 6 pad and then added to a red card base.  The bottom corners of each layer was rounded with the We R Memory Keepers  1/2" Corner Chomper.
