Hello everyone! Welcome to another Tombow Challenge!
This week I have chosen a color challenge for us to use...with a little twist. The twist is to use Tombow Foam Tabs or Power Tabs to add a little lift to your project. Although we would love for you to use Tombow's products, we WANT you to play along, so feel free to use whatever you have and upload a picture to the Inlinkz over on the Tombow Blog for a chance to win a Tombow prize pack.
You can find that link HERE. A winner will be announced Wednesday, May 29. It could be you!
Here are the colors I have chosen:
I am excited about this color palette as I can imaging projects for any theme with these colors. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Be sure to link it up in the Inlinkz on THIS post on the Tombow Blog.
Here is my project:
I chose to work with the stone, gray and aqua in the graphic for this project. I stamped the image from Impression Obsession Archival Black ink onto some 140# Cold Press watercolor paper and then used Tombow Dual Brush Pens in the following colors: 062, 451,452,969 and N75. I color a small area and then come in with a wet paintbrush and move the color around until I get the look I want. I used Tombow Mono Dots Adhesive to adhere the image panel to the scallop circle and then popped up both onto the print panel using Tombow Foam Tabs. I used a little more of the Mono Dots Adhesive to adhere the two print panels together and then popped them up onto the woodgrain panel using Tombow Power Tabs.
This is what you could win:
I look forward to seeing your creations. Come on back and let me know when you have linked up your project so I can check it out and leave you a comment.
