We are blog hopping with Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock this week! I hope you are ready from some Fun Ideas and Great Prizes this week from Tombow and Core’dinations.
If you're here from the Tombow Blog, then you’re in the right place, if not then you may want to start at the beginning.
I am sharing a little accordion album that I made using a Silhouette cut file that I recently downloaded.
For the front cover, I stamped the bat image from Northwoods Rubber Stamps onto some white cardstock and colored the image using Tombow Dual Brush Pens popped it up onto the cover using Tombow Foam Tabs. For the cover, I cut and embossed Core'dinations ColorCore cardstock and embossed it to add some additional texture and then sanded using the Core'dinations Sanding It Set to reveal some of the core color. Isn't that cool?
Here is the album opened up. I used the same process as I did for the cover to create the flaps for each of the pockets. The flaps and panels were attached to the album using Tombow Power Bond adhesive.
I cut a Tombow Fastener Tab into smaller pieces to use as closures for the flaps. Each of the pockets holds a fun chevron print photo mat.
Here is the reverse side of the album. I added the scalloped circle/spider image using Tombow Power Bond for the circle and Tombow Foam Tabs for the spider. The web was attached using Tombow Mono Multi.
Here is a close up of the spider panel, I just love how the embossing/sanding look on this cardstock...Awesome, if I do say so myself!
I am going to send you on to Tracy Gruber's amazing blog so that you can see her project!
