Sparkle, Sparkle, Sparkle

Wow, it's Monday again...this year has just flown by for me.  I can't believe it is almost Christmas and before you know it 2014 will be here.

Today, the Tombow Designers are sharing projects that we made using glitter from Art Institute Glitter.

I have two sparkly cards to share with you today.



This card was stamped in black ink and colored with Tombow Dual Brush Pens and then I added some Tombow Mono Aqua and sprinkled Crystal glitter from Art Institute to give the flowers a pretty glisten.  I used Tombow Stamp Runner for panel to panel layers and Tombow Foam Tabs to pop up the image panel.  


For this card, I stamped the image in black ink and colored the flowers with a combination of Tombow Dual Brush pens and Irojiten Colored Pencils.  For a finishing touch on this one, I added Tang Ultrafine Pearlescent glitter from Art Institute.  I like how the Tang glitter had just the perfect orange color to go with the beautiful California Poppies.  I used Tombow Stamp Runner for the flat layers and Tombow Foam Tabs to pop up the image panel.

    SO pretty! What beautiful cards. It's hard to choose a fave but I think I like the purple one best because of the embossing background. Lovely!

    Very elegant use of the glitter - I particularly liked the purple one and then I saw the yellow poppies - like it equally well. Lovely cards.
