Hi there! Today I am sharing a fun Valentine card with you.
I have been wanting to try the Chalkboard technique for quite a while now and finally took the time. I think this Taylored Expressions, Graphic Greetings-Valentine was the perfect stamp to use. I inked the stamp with Colorbox Frost White ink and stamped it onto some black cardstock. I diecut the image with the Spellbinders Labels 29 die and swiped some of the white ink around the edges and lightly accross the image to create the chalkboard effect. Next I diecut 2 larger pieces with the same die set and adhered them together with Tombow Mono Adhesive Dots to create the card base. Next, I added a piece of pink paper (the B side) from the American Crafts XOXO Hugs and Kisses paper with Mono Adhesive Dots and then popped up the image panel using Tombow Foam Tabs. I colored a wooden heart with an Irojiten Dictionery Color Pencil and then added a little more colored pencil to the arrow and some of the hearts.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you stop back by real soon!
