Hey there! Today, the Tombow team is hopping with a fantastic young crafter named Lily Criswell. You should have arrived at my blog from Debbie's blog, but if you didn't you can go back to Tombow's blog and start from the beginning.
Lily will be heading back to school soon, so the theme of this hop is just that:
Back To School
I was stumped for a project as I don't have anyone in school at this time so I went through some of my old files and came up with this adorable pencil card.
I cut a piece of tan cardstock 7" x 8 1/2" and scored it at 3 1/2" to create a 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" card. Next, I cut the right edge to a point and colored the end with a Black Tombow Dual Brush Pen to create the "pencil lead". Next I die cut a piece of yellow print cardstock with a wavy edged die and adhered it to the card using Tombow Xtreme Adhesive. I added a scrap of pink cardstock for the eraser using Xtreme and then some Core'dinations Onyx Gemstone cardstock to create the ferrule of the pencil. The pencil on my desk had a little green strip in the middle of the ferrule so I added a tiny strip of cardstock using Tombow Mono Multi to make it look the same. I stamped the sentiment from Paper Smooches and the tiny apple from Gina K. Designs and added a bit of twine as a finishing touch.
