Hey, hey, hey...it's What If Wednesday pm The House That Stamps Built blog and this week is a Designers Choice Challenge and Joyce has challenged the Rock Stars to create using the color Blue.
The first thing that came to mind was snowflakes. I love, love snowflakes and this card was easy peasy to put together. Gotta love that!
I started with a light gray card base and then added a silver shimmer panel and a blue snowflake embossed panel. I rubbed some white pigment ink lightly over the embossed blue panel to add some interest. Next, I stamped the RI Snowflake Outline #8917-I and #8916-E in dark blue ink and the RI Snowflake Solid #8912-I in light blue ink and cut them out and added them on top of some banner strips. I stamped the Merry Christmas from the RI May Your Heart #2203-H in dark blue ink and added it to a silver shimmer panel. I added some Stardust Stickles and large rhinestones to the snowflakes to finish them off.

Melissa, these are super snowflakes and a great design!
Had some similar snowflake stamps in my rummage sale and my son pulled them out (still can't believe it!) and said I couldn't sell my Christmas stamps. Boy am I glad he did, cuz I'll be CASEing this card! thanks Melissa.
