Guess What? It's Wednesday and you know what that means on The House That Stamps Built blog....it's challenge time.
This week, Cheri has challenged the Repeat Rock Stars to create a card/project using the colors Black/Gray/White. Cheri's challenged was inspired by watching an old Black/White movie with her Mom :)
For my card, I started by cutting a hexagon in the middle of the glitter dot cardstock and then I stamped the Repeat Impressions Snowflake Outline Large #8197-I in black ink onto a white panel and placed it in the hexagon opening. Next, I cut a hexagon frame out of some warm gray cardstock and mounted it on top of the glitter dot cardstock using foam tape. I mounted the image panel/glitter panel onto a black card. For a finishing touch, I added some silver nailheads to the snowflake and a punched snowflake and some sprigs to upper edge of the hexagon.
Be sure to check out each of the Rock Star blogs and see what birthday themed cards they have created.
After you have check out their awesome cards, head on over to The House That Stamps Built blog and play along with Cheri's Black/Gray/White challenge. You could win a $25 gift certificate for stamps from Repeat Impressions :)
Don't forget, if you need a little retail therapy after seeing all of the amazing projects, you can use the coupon code below to save 10%

Melissa, this is stunning. I have added it to my CASE list (with your permission). I love the elegant simplicity of the entire design.
