Hi there!
This week on the Tombow blog, Debbie has challenged us to transform something that was purchased at the Dollar Store.
I picked up these two mugs:
Pretty sad looking huh?
Here is what they look like after I made some new tags and added my own candy to them.
I cut the tags from a Silhouette cut file. I embossed the mustache and beard with a swirls embossing folder and then added the mustache to the face using Tombow Foam Tabs. I used Tombow Dual Brush Pens to color the cheeks and the details on the holly leaves.
For his hat, I added a thin layer of Tombow Mono Aqua and then sprinkled red glitter to make them sparkle. I used a wee bit of Mono Aqua to adhere the googly eyes to his face.
Pretty simple project, but very effective.
Be sure to play along with Debbie's challenge this week. You could win this prize pack:
You will find all of the details for the hop on the Tombow blog. We would love to have you play along.
