Hey there and happy Wednesday. This week on The House That Stamps Built blog Deonna has challenged the team to create a monochromatic card using the following colors:
Black/Brown/White
I started with a black card base and added some print layers. Next, I die cut a black doily and added a cream panel that I had stamped the Repeat Impressions Hummingbird #4315-J in brown ink and added a bit of shading with a warm gray marker as warm grays have a brown undertone to them and this worked perfectly for adding that little bit of color. I stamped the Repeat Impressions Deepest Sympathy #8612-E in brown ink and layered it to a black panel. For a finishing touch, I added a couple of glittered flowers.
Be sure to stop by each of the Rock Star's blogs and see what they did with Deonna's challenge.
We would love to have you play along with Deonna's challenge as well, head on over to The House That Stamps Built for all of the details. Wendy will be giving away an awesome prize to one lucky person who plays along :)
Don't forget, if you are itching to do a little Repeat Impressions' shopping, you will find a 10% off discount code in my right sidebar. Don't forget to use it! You will be glad that you did!
