Hello there friends. Well the weather is warm and dry, dry, dry here in Cali and we are desperately in need of some rain.
I wish we would get some and that it would be as pretty as the photo inspiration for this week on The House That Stamps Built blog. Take a peek:
For my card, I pulled from the colors and a wee bit on the shape/cluster of the umbrellas.
I started by creating a background using several colors of Distress Inks blended together and then I applied drops of water which react with the inks creating the spots you see on the background. Next, I stamped the Repeat Impressions Hot Air Balloon Cluster #9116-N in Memento Black ink and the RI sentiment Dreams Take Flight 9117-F. For a couple of final touches, I added some gold Irresistible Spray from Tsukineko and a bow.
