So, this post was supposed to go live earlier today and I totally missed the mark! My apologies to Wendy at Repeat Impressions and to all of my fellow Rock Stars.
Now, on with the show!
This week on The House That Stamps Built blog we have a photo inspiration challenge. We were given two different photos to choose from and I chose this one:
Here is what I came up with!
I used some scraps of cardstock that I had left over from another card project to mimic the blue and stripes in the photo above.
I stamped the Repeat Impressions God Bless #3705-J in black ink onto a scrap of white cardstock and then layered it to some navy and red panels. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the red stripes and some silver stars to the blue area. I tied a bow with some white/silver twine to finish off this card.
Please be sure to head on over to each of my fellow Rock Star's blogs and check out their amazing creations.
We would love to have you play along with the challenge as well, head on over to The House That Stamps Built for all of the details. Wendy will be giving away an awesome prize to one lucky person who plays along :)
Don't forget, if you are itching to do a little Repeat Impressions' shopping, you will find a 10% off discount code in my right sidebar. Don't forget to use it! You will be glad that you did!

Late? Maybe! But always rock'n the challenges, my friend! This is a great take on the inspiration. WTG.
Simple, but soooo eye-catching! Love the flag base. Did you cut all those red stripes?? Looks fabulous!
