Hey there y'all! Happy Wednesday to each and every one of you!
I hope this finds you having a great week!
This week Repeat Impressions Rock Star, Cheri has challenged us to create a card/project with a Sun, Sand or Surf theme.
I love going to the beach and walking along the ocean edge and looking for shells so I chose to use one of my favorite Repeat Impressions shell images.
Now, we would love it if you would play along this week, you could have a chance to win an awesome prize. Head on over to The House That Stamps Built blog and check out all of the details.

I love using cream and gold when I am creating sea themed cards, makes me think of the shimmer that you see in the sand.
I started with a top fold cream card and then added a panel to the top that was cut with a curved edge and embossed with a "bubble" embossing folder. I added it to the card with foam tabs. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Sea Quartet #8508-U and the Conch Shell #2410-I with Versamark ink and embossed them with detail gold embossing powder. I cut out the shell and mounted it to the bubble panel with a foam tab.
Now, be sure to head on over to each of my fellow Rock Star's blogs and check out their awesome creations.

I am crazy about gold and your card is a beautiful example of how it can be used in a sophisticated card! Great job.
Oh Melissa - this is a beauty. Love the clean and simple look, but moreover the embossing and the curved line really make this special. So glad you've got your mojo back ;)
This is a beautiful card! So simple, but really elegant with the gold embossing.
This card is stunning, Melissa. I absolutely love the lines and the gold detailing. Hugs.
