Countdown to Confetti-Day 3

Hi there, I am back for day 3 of the Reverse Confetti Sneak Peeks and today we are sharing the Arrows 'n Elements set that will be released on July 8th.

Before we get started with the show and tell, I wanted to let you know that if you leave a comment on each of the designers blogs during the sneak peeks and you could win a $15.00 gift certificate for the store.  The details are listed below:

Today I have a card that was a lot of fun to make. Hearts always make me happy!

I started with piece of sand cardstock and stamped the arrow in black ink several times to get the three rows for the main image on the card.  I cut hearts out of hot pink and lime green cardstock with my Silhouette and added them to the arrows.  I added splatters with some hot pink embossing powder.  I sprinkled the powder on and heated from underneath to get the splattered look.  I added the sentiment and then layered the sand piece to a black layer and a sand cardbase.  Pretty easy peasy.

Take a look at this cool set, the ideas are swimming around in my head :) Be sure to come back tomorrow to see another project using the Arrows 'n Elements set.

Be sure to leave a comment to win and head over to the Reverse Confetti Blog and check out the complete list of designers who are sharing amazing projects using the Arrows 'n Elements set.

Reverse Confetti:Sneak Peek Day 1

Hi there,  I am thrilled to be sharing sneak peeks for the Reverse Confetti July release.  I know you can't hear me giggling, but I am!

Before we get started with the show and tell, I wanted to let you know that if you leave a comment on each of the designers blogs during the sneak peeks and you could win a $15.00 gift certificate for the store.  The details are listed below:

I am sharing two cards with you today using the Inner Rock Star and Whole Lotta Dots sets.

Isn't she cute?  As soon as I saw this set I knew I wanted my card to be bright and fun!  I stamped the dots from Whole Lotta Dots in neon purple ink and then stamped the records in neon yellow at the top of the panel. I added a sentiment from the Inner Rock Star set and then stamped the skull image and colored and fussy cut it out and popped up for a little dimension.  I added glitter glue to her flower and glossy accents to the bones.

I decided to do a card that was a little more masculine for the boys in our lives and this is what I came up with.

This one has a bit of a grungy feel with all of the distressed edges.  I started with a green card base and stamped the large dots from Whole Lotta Dots in white ink.   Since I was going for a distressed look, I did not put the stamp on a block.  Instead I just held it in my fingers, pressed in the ink and then directly onto the cardstock.  This gave me the grungy effect I was going for.  After embossing the craft and added a bit more white ink, I layered it to some navy cardstock and then added to the front of the card.  Next, I stamped the guitar from the Inner Rock Star set in green ink and fussy cut it out.  I stamped the sentiment two times, once in navy and again in green.  I layered the navy sentiment to a green panel, cut the green flag from the second image and popped it up for a two tone effect.

Here are these amazing sets in all their glory.

Be sure to leave a comment for a chance to win and head on over to the Reverse Confetti blog for a complete list of designers sharing sneak peeks today.
