Hop with Tombow and Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hi there!

I love, love Elizabeth Craft Designs products and was thrilled to be hopping with them today. You should have arrived at my blog from Rita's blog, if not you can go back to the Tombow blog and start from the beginning.

Recently, Els from Elizabeth Craft Designs sent me a box full of amazing products to play with.  Pair all of the ECD treats with some awesome Tombow products and you have a win/win!

\
For my first card, I used the Elizabeth Craft Designs Cupcake Peel-Off on ECD Watercolor Paper and then colored it in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens and a waterbrush.  I adhered each of the panels to their coordinating black layer using Tombow Xtreme Glue Tape.  The pink dot embossed panel is then popped up onto some Tombow Foam Tabs.  I cut the ECD Happy Birthday die 3 times from black cardstock and glued them together using Tombow Mono Multi and then embossed them with Crystal Embossing powder. I using a bit more Mono Multi to attached the die cuts to the card.

For my next card, I used the Elizabeth Craft Designs Roses in Oval Peel Off with some Warm Diamond glitter from ECD and colored it in with Tombow Dual Brush pens.  I used Xtreme Glue Tape to adhere each of the panels together and Tombow Foam Tabs to pop up the image panel. I added the ECD Happy Birthday die to the card using Tombow Mono Multi.

Now, you have a chance to win a fabulous prize pack.

Tombow Blog Hop with Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good Morning!

This week the Tombow Team is pairing up with Elizabeth Craft Designs for a fun blog hop complete with a Tombow/Elizabeth Craft Designs prize pack for one lucky person.  You should have arrived at my blog from Debbie's awesome blog, but if you didn't you can go back to the Tombow Blog and start from the beginning.

I created this card using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Flowers in Frame 3 Peel Off.  I put the sticker onto some watercolor paper and used Tombow Dual Brush Pens in the following colors: 076, 098, 665, 673, and 676 to watercolor the image.  Once the image was dry, I added some ECD Silk Microfine Glitter in Warm Diamond and Spring Peridot  using the Tombow Glue Pen as my adhesive. I cut out the water colored image and mounted it on a black layer using Tombow Stamp Runner-Dot Adhesive and then popped it up onto the embossed panel using Tombow Foam Tabs and then I popped the embossed panel up onto the card base using some more foam tabs.

I am going to send you on your way to Jennie's amazing blog, but please
be sure to stop by each of the blogs along the way and leave a comment to win this prize pack from Tombow/Elizabeth Craft Designs.

The winner will be picked on Friday.  Good Luck!

Butterfly Dreams

Hi there!  Welcome to one of two Gourmet Rubber Stamps releases this month.  Today I am sharing a card from the GRS Laura Hunter Series.
Laura's images are classic and beautiful and I know you will love them.

I tried something a little different with this card.  I started by stamping the Butterfly image onto some white cardstock and then inked up the entire thing with Colorbox Pigment inks from the Jelly Beans Queue and then covered the image with a glue pad and then added Warm Highlight glitter from Elizabeth Craft Designs over the top.  Next, I used  a Tombow Mono Zero Eraser to remove the glitter from the butterflies and then I added some Glossy Accents to give them shine and dimension.  The image is layered onto orange cardstock and then popped up onto some yellow print paper with Tombow Foam Tabs and then added to a purple card base using Tombow Stamp Runner.  I finished the card with some pretty purple ombre ribbon from May Arts.

Please be sure to stop by the Gourmet Rubber Stamps Blog and the design team blogs below to check out their amazing creations.

"to do" notebook

Friday is here again, can you believe how fast this year is going?  It seems like it was just Christmas!  Especially with the snowfall we had last week.  You can keep the snow, I am so ready for sunshine!

This week I am sharing a Spring inspired "To Do" book.  I took a simple store bought notebook and covered it with pretty, springy papers from the Pebbles Family Ties collection.  I love all of the prints in this collection and had a tough time choosing which ones to use.

I started by cutting all the pieces to size (this would be determined by the size of your notebook) and then I applied Tombow Mono Multi onto the front cover and spread it thinly using an old gift card and then applied the papers for the cover.  I also used Mono Multi for the spine, I just held it for about a count of 10 and it was nice and secure.  I stamped the "To Do" and Frame from the Gina K. Designs Organize It! Stamp TV Kit in some Memento Rich Cocoa ink and cut it out with an oval die (a punch would work too!)  I added a yellow scallop behind the To Do panel using some Tombow Mono Adhesive Dots and then popped it up using Tombow Foam Tabs.  For the little blue bird on the top right of the notebook, I  covered her in Tombow Mono Aqua and sprinkled some Warm Highlight glitter from Elizabeth Craft Designs to make her sparkle.

I used scraps of paper for the pen.  Just a little of the Tombow Mono Adhesive Dots to the back of each of the pieces held it nicely around the pen.

If you make a notebook, come on back and leave me a comment with a link to your project as I would love to check it out!

No Lion, It's Your Birthday

Woo hoo, the weekend is almost here!  I can't believe we are almost half way through the year, before you know it the holiday season will be upon us. Egads!

This week on the Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge we are creating cards with an animal theme.

I started by stamping this sweet little lion from Penny Black in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloring him in with Copic markers. I added glitter to his beautiful mane with a glue pen and some Warm Highlights Glitter Ritz glitter.  After the glue had dried under the glitter I added a bit more color with a Copic marker.  Don't worry, this glitter is so microfine, that it won't be a problem for your marker nib.  I had saved the Mojo Monday 230 sketch from a few months ago and finally got a chance to play with it.  I ended up turning the sketch on it's side as I thought it would look good to have the scallop edge on the side instead of the bottom.  I didn't have a sentiment that I thought was just right, so I generated this one on the computer using my new favorite font LD Woodland, I think it is perfect for this image.  The solid cardstocks are from American Crafts and this fun print is from an older Bo Bunny collection.  I wanted this card to be fairly flat so all layers were adhered with Tombow Mono Dots Roller, this has to be my favorite all time adhesive when you are needing to layer paper to paper without all of the fussy pop up layers.

My Twisted Thursday teamies and I would love to have you play along with us this week.  You can find all of the details HERE.
