Winter Wonderland hop with Tombow and Stampendous

“Welcome to the TombowUSA and Stampendous! Winter Wonderland hop!
If you have come from Pam Hornschu's awesome blog then you are on the right track, if not- you can start the hop over at the Stampendous Blog!

This hop will be a 3-day hop beginning today!

Hope you are ready to see some winter-ful projects using both TombowUSA and Stampendous products.”

First up, I created a card using these adorable penguins from Stampendous.

I stamped the Stampendous Bundled Penguins #RS-Q206 in black ink and watercolored with Tombow Dual Brush Pens  in a variety of aquas and grays with a touch of orange :)  To add some shimmer to the card, I added some Clear Wink of Stella over the penguins and their hats/scarves.  I used Stampendous Shaved Ice for the snow at the penguins feet and around the sentiment.  I used Tombow Xtreme, Foam Tabs and Mono Multi to adhere the layers and embellies.

For my next card, I used some of the fun Stampendous embossing powder and a sentiment stamp.

I stamped the Retro Script Merry Christmas #RS-G093 in black ink onto die cut label and edged it with some Stampendous Spoonful of Snow embossing powder.  I also edged the blue print panel of the card with the same embossing powder.  I used Tombow Xtreme, Foam Tabs and Mono Multi to adhere the layers of the card together.  I finished off this card with a beautiful bow.

How about a prize pack?

The Prize includes:

merry woofmas!

Hellllllooooooo!

This week on the Tombow blog we have been teaming up with the awesome folks at May Arts and sharing great cards and projects with you.

I decided it was time to start thinking about my Christmas cards, and this year I wanted to create cards that are cute and whimsical instead of my normal serious cards.  Although this Impression Obsession stamp is called McScottie, this dog looks just like my Abby girl.  I inked up the stamp with Tombow Dual Brush Pens (N95-Cool Gray 1, N00-Black and 847-Crimson) and stamped on to some ivory cardstock.  I used Tombow Mono Adhesive Dots Permanent to adhere all of the layers together.  I popped the image panel up onto the card with Tombow Foam Tabs.  I used the May Arts AKB14 Solid/Ivory Check ribbon in red to finish off the card.  I computer generated the sentiment and attached it to the card with Tombow Mono Adhesive Dots.

CSS Blog Hop

Hi there, I am so happy that you have decided to join me and some of my pals from the Gina K. Designs CSS Alumni Design Team as we take you on a journey through our Treasure Chest.

Tonight we have dug into the treasure chest looking for lots of wonderful Holiday Treat Holders using either a Christmas or New Year's theme.  We hope you will find some great ideas for creating sweet little gifts for the special people in your life.

You should have arrived at my blog from Tera's blog, but if you didn't you can go back to StampTV and start from the beginning.

My little treat holders are fast and easy to make.  I started with a 6" x 8" piece of print cardstock and folded it in half to create a 3" x 4" pouch.  Add strong adhesive (I used Scor-tape) to the bottom (3") and the side (4").  You should have a pouch with a 3" opening at the top.  I used stamps from the GKD Winter Mittens set to create the decorative piece on the front of each pouch.  Embellish with your favorite ribbons and trims.
See, I told you they were fast and easy! =)

Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (December 13), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps!
 Free stamps = Christmas Happiness!

While I am thrilled that you stopped by for a visit, I am going to send you on your way to Lori's blog so that you can check out her amazing creation.

CSS Treasure Chest Hop

Happy Friday Y'all!

Tonight I have gathered together with several of  my fellow Center Stage Alumni to introduce you to our first Treasure Chest Blog Hop.  The idea behind this hop is that we will be digging into the Treasure Chest from time to time and pulling out treasures to share with you.  Tonight we are sharing stamps from the Animal Kingdom...........Gina K's Animal Kingdom that is.  The challenge was to use any of the GKD sets that had an animal in it.  I chose to use the beautiful owl from the Hope Grows set illustrated by the talented Theresa Momber

You should have arrived at my blog from the ever so talented Lori McAree's blog, if not you can go back to StampTV and start from the beginning.  Really you should, you don't want to miss a thing!

I chose to follow along with this weeks Outlawz color challenge to use Lime, Charcoal and White and some bling.  I kinda tossed in a bit (okay a lot) of black too!  In an effort to use up some scrap my card is sized at 3 1/2" x 6".  I colored this adorable little owl with C1 and C3 Copics and sprinkled in some Stardust pen for a bit of glitz.  I cut the leafy flourish from some lime cardstock and then added some shadowing with YG03 and YG09 Copics.  To create the blinged out edging, I used both the postive and negative sections from the edge die.  I love how it worked out, I guess you would call that "seredipity."

Now that you have made it this far, I want to let you know that Gina K. is going to give away a free set valued at $24.95 or less to one lucky person.  Be sure to stop by each of the blogs along the hop and leave a comment.  Entering to win is as easy as that.  On Tuesday March 1, Gina will randomly choose a winner.  It could be you!

I am sending you on to Melissa Shultz's blog, where she has created a fabulous project for you.

Recipe:
Stamps:  Hope Grows-Gina K. Designs
Paper:  PL Smoky Slate, Black, White-GKD, Lime Green and Dot Print-SEI
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Extras:  Bling, Copics, Stardust pen, CPJ's Edge die, Sizzlets Leaf die, Octagon Nesties, CB EF

CSS Alumni Challenge Blog Hop

Wow, here we are for another amazing Center Stage Alumni Blog Hop.  This time, we were given a great sketch to work with.  I am not sure why I chose to go with a Christmas theme as I am usually the last one to start thinking about making Christmas cards.  Maybe this year, I will get them done early!

You should have come here from Karen's blog.  If not, you will want to go back and check it out.  Eye candy for sure!

I stamped the poinsettia from the GKD Year of Flowers set two times in Rich Cocoa Memento ink on PL Ivory cardstock.  The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out and layered for a 3D effect.  The center of the flower was embellished with a dollop of Glossy Accents that was covered with gold ultrafine glitter.

I cut the half circles out of the top panels with my Large and Small Circle Nestabilities dies.  The card was finished off with some GKD Ivory ribbon and some MS Branch punchies.  I won't keep you any longer, so I am sending you on to Melissa's awesome blog for another treat!

CSS Alumni Blog Hop

Hi there!  Tonight I am sharing a card that I created for for a blog hop being hosted by members of StampTV Center Stage Alumni. A group of us have decided to get together a couple of times a month and host a themed hop in order to share our love for Gina K. stamps.  For this hop we were given this photo as inspiration.  If you've arrived from my pal Lori McAree's blog then you're at the right place! To start at the beginning, please go to StampTV and hop from there.

As soon as I saw this picture I knew I would be using Melanie's adorable Candles on Your Cake set.  I was also inspired by the wonderful bright colors.in the photo and knew that the striped paper from the October Afternoon Farm Fresh pad would be perfect to create little presents with. I punched 1" squares from the paper and adhered them to some white Inchie squares. I tied 3 of them up like little gifts with some teeny tiny ribbon from my stash.  I stamped the bottom of the cupcake with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and then colored it with Copic markers (R29, R11).  The cupcake top was stamped with Memento Canteloupe ink and then I piled on some light yellow Liquid Pearls and a boatload of Limone' Art Institute glitter.  I attached the cupcake pieces to the forth Inchie square and adhered them all to a piece of Turquoise Sea  GKD PL cardstock and then layered to a white card that was embossed with dots.  The inside of the card was decorated using some of the scraps from the front.
Whew, now I will send you on your way to Sherri Seffens's blog for some more amazing eye candy!

There's alot for you to see tonight, so I won't keep you. So I will send you on to Belinda's awesome blog for some more eye candy.

Christmas Treat Recipe Blog Hop

Several members of the Center Stage Spotlight Team have joined together to share a special Christmas Treat Recipe Blog Hop event with everyone tonight! They have whipped up some treats in their kitchens and their stamp rooms over the past few weeks so we could compile our very first Recipe Book for StampTV!

Hi there! The recipe I am sharing tonight is a quick and easy favorite around my house. I hope you will like them too! I am going to keep my post short and sweet so you can continue along on the hop. The cookie recipe and card recipe are listed below.

Peanut Butter Dream Bites

Ingredients: · 1 1/4 cups flour, sift or stir before measuring · 1/2 teaspoon salt · 1 teaspoon baking powder · 1/2 cup butter · 1/2 cup peanut butter · 1/2 cup granulated sugar · 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed · 1/2 teaspoon vanilla · 1 egg · 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (for topping)

For crust: Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder; set aside. Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars; beat in vanilla and egg. Stir in flour mixture, blending well. Place dough in lightly greased 13” x 9” baking dish and flatten to create cookie bottom. Bake at 375° for about 14 to 16 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before adding chocolate topping.

For topping: Melt chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl in 30 second increments until chips are melted. Pour chocolate over peanut butter crust and refrigerate until chocolate is firm. Cut into bite sized squares and enjoy!
